Nyasanda Mentorship Programme
Our Nyasanda Mentorship program in Ugunja was initiated in 2016 by six Kenyan teachers, supporting underprivileged and
vulnerable children in the fields of education, health, wellbeing, and integration in society.
There is a big need for the center, as the participation ever since is spectacularly growing. Already communities nearby have shown interest to start a similar program.
During each school holiday, typically three times a year, students attend the Nyasanda mentorship where they receive education not only in regular school subjects but also in crucial supplementary areas. The program emphasizes remedial teaching, study skills training, and education on food and health, providing a holistic approach to student development.
