Opening Doors to the Digital World: A New Vision for Nyasanda Students At Nyasanda Secondary School in Siaya County, Kenya, Siaya Stichting is working towards transforming an under-equipped computer room into a space where students can develop essential digital skills. Although the school has a dedicated room, it still needs sufficient computers to provide students with meaningful access to technology. Equipping this facility will create opportunities for students to learn computer literacy, explore digital resources and gain practical skills increasingly important in today's world. For many students from disadvantaged backgrounds, access to computers remains limited. Through this initiative, Siaya Stichting aims to bridge the digital divide by providing the equipment needed for hands-on learning. Our ambition is to give every student the opportunity to become confident in using technology, strengthen their educational prospects and prepare for a future where digital skills open doors to further education, employment and economic independence.
